There was a time when I would simply sit on the couch and watch “yaan movies”. I would do this for hours at a time and I would feel so relaxed with my Netflix, I would simply forget to eat. I remember thinking one night that I would watch “yaan movies” for hours until I fell asleep.
I think I was a late bloomer, because now I always have a few movies in my queue. Yaan movies is a movie series that has been created by a Japanese man named Yamamoto Yuji (who sadly died in 2009) in which he creates a series of short anime films that are released to theaters. It’s basically a series of short animated films that are released on DVD so you can watch them when you’re bored.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched the first movie in the series, “The Legend of the Dragon King”, and I swear I could hear the words “death” and “lunacy” in my head the entire time I watched the movie.
I recently watched the first movie in the series, The Legend of the Dragon King, and a lot of the time I kept thinking, “I wish I could just sit down in a cool spot and watch this movie for half an hour straight.” But there was something about it that made me want to watch it again and again. It’s a pretty cool movie, and I think it’s one of the very few anime movies that really does a great job of mixing comedy with violence.
I didn’t see it, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch it again. But I’d be quite surprised if it’s not on my watchlist.
A lot of the time, I think I am a fan of movies that have a lot of action and violence in them, especially anime movies. Its how I like to relax. The Legend of the Dragon King is a good example, I also like the Death Note movies. But I think the real reason I like the Legend of the Dragon King is that it has a really cool story. It has a lot of interesting characters, and the action is pretty good.
As for the Death Note movies, they are a little more “romcom” than anime, but I guess I like the action better too. The Legend of the Dragon King is more of a drama, the Death Note movies are more of a comedy.
I love the Legend of the Dragon King just for the story, and also for the animation. The animation is really, really good too. That being said, I can’t decide if I like the story better or the animation better. I think the animation is better though. The Legend of the Dragon King is really good.
The Death Note movie has a lot of good stuff, so I’m not a huge fan of it. I would probably recommend the animation, although I haven’t watched anything in a while.
