My mom has a job and I have been away for a week. I’m going to be home right now for a week and see if I can get a photo of my mom and her work.
That’s right, I’m not going to be home for a week, but it seems like it’s only been 10 days since I returned home. I haven’t been back in a long time, and it seems like just yesterday we were back in the city where I got my first college degree and all of this happened.
I’m going to be the first person to tell you that I can’t sleep in the city the day after I go to work. I’m going to be the one going to sleep in the city in the middle of a busy day on my way home.
This is probably because the weather in India is pretty unseasonable. I can’t really say that I have been back there in a very long time, but I’ve always felt like the weather is a little different from what it is here. Most of the time I can still feel the heat, humidity, and air conditioning. When you have heat and humidity, it’s just… more intense.
Its not that I don’t like the weather here. I love the weather. I just mean that the weather is always different in India, so going back there to say that I like the weather is a lie.
Well, it’s not a lie. It’s just that every now and then we have to take a break from the weather, take a break from the sun, or get out of the house. And so, today in India, it was a pretty unseasonable day. But I was too busy to take a break. So I just had to read the news and take a look at a weather blog, and you know what? It was good.
I was just reading my weather blog, and I read something that said ‘the weather will be better in five days, but not today,’ so I think that’s about right. I was out and about yesterday, and I didn’t get any good sunshine. But I was at home, and the sun was out, and it was warm. So that’s good. But I’ve been staying indoors in the house all day today, and I haven’t been outside.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to do today, too. I can’t imagine any of us are going to have a cold snap right now, but we’re all going to be out and about in the warmer weather, so we might as well enjoy it all.
Its the end of the month, and we are all going to be bundled up in a warm, cozy house here in the middle of winter. We are going to head out for some much needed exercise and just chill out, and maybe go for a long walk into the neighborhood. This should be a great time to check out some new local art and architecture, and maybe take a look at some local restaurants. All that will happen tomorrow morning or the night before.
