He started off the web as a glorified bulletin board, where people would post files and documents and get feedback from other web designers and programmers. His creation of the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) has since changed the way many of us interact with the web, and the industry, forever.
Jobs is, unfortunately, best known for his role as Steve Jobs. He also co-developed the Apple Macintosh, and later developed the first computers for the US Space Program. I can’t stress enough how important Jobs was in the history of the web. He was a pioneer of the web and the web as we know it today.
If you want to get a career in the web, you really need to get into it. If you don’t, you’re not worth it. But if you’re interested in something more than just your career, you can get a few jobs on the web.
