I’m not sure if the term “pawan kalyan harvard” really fits my personality well, but I enjoy the idea of this, and the way it’s interpreted by my friend and fellow foodie, Dr. Akshay Nair.
I’m not the only one who likes the idea of a cat that eats a lot of meat. I am so happy to hear that the University of Chicago has opened up a food lab to make vegetarian food. And since we all live in India, I am also happy to hear that the University of Illinois is about to make a vegan version of its popular sandwich, the Kalyan-Rajasthani.
I am happy too. The University of Chicago is a great place, and the University of Illinois is the most progressive university in the world. But the Kalyan-Rajasthani is one of my favorite sandwiches in the country and I really hope many of you like it too.
The Kalyan-Rajasthani is a sandwich from the city of Kalyan, located in Uttar Pradesh with the northernmost state of Rajasthan in its boundaries. The sandwich name comes from the Rajasthani word for “sandwich,” kalyan for “sandwiches.” The sandwich is made from shredded wheat, potato, paneer/cottage cheese, tomato, and onion.
The Kalyan-Rajasthani is a very popular sandwich, so I’m guessing it’s a favorite of many of the members of the Punjabi community in Chicago. But I have never really eaten a sandwich at Punjabi houses in Chicago (I’ve only been to Punjabi places in Toronto and Ottawa).
The problem is that there’s no way to tell what it is other than what you see in the world. In the world of Punjabi, there are three other kinds of food. A breaded-cereals sandwich, for example, is made from fried rice and bread dough that is eaten as a snack. It’s the simplest kind of sandwich, but is not one of the most delicious ones that would be featured in any other Punjabi meal.
The kind you get with any sandwich you grab at Punjabi restaurants is a breaded-rice one, but that’s not the one they use for the main course. The second kind of sandwich you get at Punjabi restaurants is a meat one. It’s usually made with lamb patties and a piece of beef that’s cooked in a spicy gravy over a hot pan. Sometimes it’s topped with onions or other tasty condiments.
The best Punjabi food is the kind that is made with the best of both worlds. It’s a sandwich that you get with rice and a side dish that you would get with any kind of salad or main course. The kind you get with any kind of sandwich that you get at Punjabi restaurants is a breaded-rice one, but thats not the one they use for the main course.
Pawan Kalyan is a restaurant in the neighborhood where I live. The kind of place where you get a meal with a side dish. The kind of restaurant where you get a meal with rice. The kind of place where you get a meal that comes with a side dish. The kind of restaurant where you get a meal that comes with rice with your meal.
And also, because its Punjabi, there are lots of dishes that you get with your meal.
