little champs therapy and yoga

I’m all about incorporating little champs into my daily routine. This past week I did something that will be forever etched in my mind, but that wasn’t necessarily a healthy habit. I had been doing some yoga and stretching, and then after my yoga class, I had a little bit of a break, and that’s when I thought, “Hey, I’m going to do some champs.” Yup. It was a good idea, so I did.

Champs are a yoga practice that focuses on the body, including breathing, stretching, and strengthening. A big part of champs is doing your poses for a period of time, and then you break the pose down into a series of movements. You can then do these movements again, or if you feel like you have some form of injury, you can take a few days and do them again. I just finished the first set of champs, and I didn’t go too fast.
