I’m looking at you, aknr. The name is a combination of a Japanese term meaning “to know,” and the name of a book in Japanese that I read as a teenager. The book was called “Knower” by the author, and it was about a young man who had no way of knowing that he was a master at something. He was a teacher by day, a student of the martial arts at night.
The main character in aknr is the protagonist, who is a master at reading things. His name, Ako, means “know,” and he is not a young man. He’s in his fifties. Ako is a monk who’s been living on the island of Blackreef for the past ten thousand years.
Ako is obviously a monk. And just like the monks of old, he has a reputation for being very secretive to his students. He has never told anybody about his secret past until now, but he is still very secretive about it.
Ako can read a lot of things. He can read things like you and I. He can read things about the past, present, and future. But he can also read things about the past, present, and future. He can read the past like he can read a book, and the future like he can read a newspaper. He also reads the future like he reads a magazine, and the past like he reads a newspaper.
Ako seems to have a great memory for details. Whenever he is in the same situation, he remembers it. And when he is in the same situation he forgets all that happened, but he is never unaware of what happened. So he is a very good learner.
As he learns more about the Visionaries, he can also learn about different aspects of his past, present, and future. Ako can read his past like a book, and the future like a newspaper. He can read the future like he reads a magazine, and the past like he reads a newspaper. Ako can read the past like he reads a book, and the future like he reads a newspaper.
The game is actually set in the near future, and it takes place in various time periods. But the events that affect Ako are all tied together, so they are all happening at the same time. Because of this, players take on roles that help them become more aware of their surroundings and understand how they fit into the ongoing time loop.
And as for his present… well, he’s just a kid. It’s not like he has a lot of choices.
This is another game in a line of titles that have some sort of a “What if?” moment. Ako’s existence is tied to the events of Blackreef, which itself is tied to the events of Blacklight. If Blacklight dies, which happens, the whole line goes up in flames. So then the player takes on the role of the “head of security” on Blacklight.
The best example of what we are talking about is the “What if Blacklight?” game from 2012. The game’s premise was that one person’s death was connected to the life of a second person. In the case of the Akos, it was a kid. In the case of the Blacklight kids, it was the first person to die.
